Wizard World Chicago Announces First Guests for 2021 Event

Wizard World Chicago is lined up to return to Chicago, Ill. at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center after the corporation decided to postpone its 2020 event. The convention announced their first wave of celebrity guests who are to appear at this year's show.

William Shatner, Michael Rooker, and Matthew Lewis are the first headlining entertainment guests that will attend Wizard World Chicago 2021. Dean Cain, James Marsters, and Katie Cassidy are to join them on the show floor on their respected days of appearances. Shatner will appear on Sunday only; Rooker, Cassidy, and Lewis will be at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center on both Saturday and Sunday. Cain is scheduled for Friday and Saturday. At the time of writing, Marsters is the only guest that will spend all three days at the convention.


Wizard World brings thousands of fans together to celebrate pop culture, video games, television, comics, movies, science fiction, graphic novels, and other fandom-related media. There is no official schedule that has been published for the run of show yet, but details are expected to arrive soon. According to the corporation, the Chicago convention's owers of operation are as followed: Friday, October 15, 4-9 p.m.; Saturday, October 16, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.; and Sunday, October 17, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Wizard World Chicago 2021 will be Wizard World Chicago's final show. Starting in 2022, Wizard World events in Chicago, St. Louis, Portland, Cleveland, New Orleans, and Philadelphia will be produced by FAN EXPO. Wizard World will be participating in all FAN EXPO events. Tickets start at $39.99 and can be purchased here. Children ages 10 and under attend for free when accompanied by an adult with a paid ticket.
