Today saw the release of an all new, full length teaser trailer from Prime Video for Season 3 of The Boys, and it sets the bar high for what a TV trailer can be.
The trailer, seen below, is a red banned trailer for its heavy blood, violence, sexual content, and sheer awesomeness!!! It’s more music video than traditional trailer with no dialog and extremely fast paced cuts of show clips and characters.
So what's with Butcher's new powers? In the comics, The Boys take the chemical, Compound V, regularly to help them fight the "Supes" and it seems that is exactly what's going to happen in Season 3. You can see that right in the thumbnail for the trailer where Butcher has glowing yellow eyes. Also seen briefly in the trailer is the new character, Soldier Boy, played by Jensen Ackles.
The Boys returns this June.
