We've known for quite some time that the new Star Wars series about Obi-Wan Kenobi was coming in 2022, but until now we had no idea when. Well, we may be taking our first step toward a release date and possibly a trailer.
According to ScreenRant.com, a new report suggests Lucasfilm's Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ show starring Ewan McGregor will premiere in May, although an official release date has not been set.
Obi-Wan will be directed by Deborah Chow (The Mandalorian) and will not only feature the return of Ewan McGregor in the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi, but also the return of Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader. Disney and Lucasfilm have yet to announce much information about the show, however a short Obi-Wan Kenobi sizzle reel was released in late 2021 which is (for now) the only official marketing material for the show.
So, the big question is, when will we see the first official Obi-Wan Trailer? Well, with Super Bowl Sunday a mere week away, speculation is high we may get our first real look at Disney's next big series on February 13.
