'Morbius' Director Might Have Spoiled [REDACTED]'s Appearance

Morbius (2022) has been subject to a handful of delays when asked patiently to await its cinematic release. Its original release of July 2020 was struck down by the COVID-19 pandemic. Though Morbius has been postponed, it's still determined to earn its cinematic screening, and may feature a key character from the Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters.

There still may be a bit of time before finally seeing itself on the big screen. Even in its waiting period, new details have surfaced about the Living Vampire's breakout into the SPUMC. Director Daniel Espinosa may have dropped a major spoiler about his movie during an interview with MovieZine, a Swedish film blog.

"It usually feels strange before the day begins, when you look at the schedule and stand on set. When you walk around there, the recording looks just like a Swedish production, but then you look at the schedule and read names like Michael Keaton, Jared Leto, and Tom Hardy." the director told the website, "It feels cool and very exciting. But when you start to work, it's the same thing. An actor wants a director and an actor wants to be directed."

It's been confirmed through the Morbius trailer that Michael Keaton is to make his Marvel return in some capacity. He's been confirmed to reprise his role as Bruce "Batman" Wayne in The Flash (2022) as the actor works his way back into the two most popular comic book movie franchises. Keaton's character in Morbius has not been disclosed. It sounds as if Venom (2018) star Tom Hardy is to be included in Morbius and will bump up against Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021).

Morbius plans to arrive on January 21, 2022.
