Does virtual reality meet The Invincible Iron Man? Yes, please! Here’s what we know and what to expect.

Developed by Camouflaj, Marvel’s Iron Man VR is coming out exclusively for PS4 where you can play from the perspective of fan-favorite billionaire, playboy, philanthropist himself: Tony Stark. “Don the PlayStation VR headset to suit up as the Armored Avenger in an original Iron Man adventure” sounds outstanding and enthralling!
According to the Playstation website, “Tony Stark has retired from making weapons and instead creates technology used to battle evil as Iron Man. After several years as a world-famous superhero, Tony is attacked by the mysterious Ghost, a hacker and anti-corporate activist who repurposes old Stark Industries weapons.” Interestingly, it appears Ghost is the same character as the antagonist in MCU’s “Ant-Man and the Wasp” which brings an added layer of intrigue to both the moviegoer fans and the fans of the character.

Other characters that are set to appear in the game include Pepper Potts, the AI program F.R.I.D.A.Y instead of J.A.R.V.I.S., (a Samuel L Jackson inspired) Nick Fury, and more. We know that the game supports online play and interspersed between the heart-pounding action are moments of calm in Tony’s garage where you can tinker with and upgrade the infamous Iron Man armor, as well as explore. According to Camouflaj director Ryan Payton, “try roaming around Tony’s garage, squeeze in a workout, give Pepper a call, or maybe listen to our in-fiction podcast series hosted by a close-ish family member of Tony Stark.”
We also know the voice actors, to paraphrase Payton: Michael Keaton was cast to voice Tony Stark, Chantelle Barry voices Ghost, Leila Birch as FRIDAY, Ike Amadi as Nick Fury, and "the ever-prolific Jennifer Hale" as Pepper Pots. There is also a bundle that releases with the game, if you have yet to buy a VR set and are thinking of purchasing one, for $350 you’ll get Iron Man VR game as well as “a Playstation VR headset, a PlayStation Camera, and two Playstation move motion controllers.”

PS4 has a demo of the game released on their store for those who already have a VR headset, but if you don’t have one and you’d like to see more high flying, ion blasting, Iron Man VR action, check out Playstation’s blog for more information, videos, and screenshots of the exceptionally enticing game set to release on July 3.
