'Guardians of the Galaxy 3' Could Feature 'The Suicide Squad' Cast

Director James Gunn teased this week of a possible crossover of actors from the all new The Suicide Squad and the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

Box office numbers keep climbing for the newest film in the DCEU Universe, The Suicide Squad, and director James Gunn is already in full swing on his next MCU film, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

When asked on Twitter if there was any chance of some of the beloved actors from The Suicide Squad following him over to appear in the finale of the 'Guardians' film franchise, Gunn Tweeted, "That is a distinct possibility."

While this announcement on the surface may sound a little odd, it's worth mentioning that several of the stars of the 'Suicide' film have already made appearances in the 'Guardians' films including Sylvester Stallone, Sean Gunn, and of course Michael Rooker.

The similarities between the two films are as plain as day and it seems like actors from both franchises would gladly make the trip across the lot to appear in each other's films. James Gunn is a beloved director and many actors, including Dave Bautista, have said publicly that they would "follow Gunn to hell and back if he asked them to."

So, what do you think about a possible David Dastmalchian or Margot Robbie appearance in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3? Does this news move your nerd needle? Sound off in the comment section.
