Formerly Wizard World, Fan Expo has revitalized a cultural interest in comic conventions throughout North America. Their reputation elevates them through the ranks of the convention circuit and has established them as a leading name in the industry. As Fan Expo Chicago prepares to introduce Fan Expo to Illinois for the first time, they will give conventiongoers an opportunity to become a SuperFan.
Per Fan Expo HQ, "purchase any ticket to FAN EXPO Chicago and become a SUPERFAN. You'll receive a personalized link that you can share with everyone. When people purchase tickets using your link, you’ll earn points that can be redeemed on Merchandise, Photo Ops, and experiences money can't buy." After a ticket to Fan Expo Chicago is purchased, a log-in screen will give attendees access to their SuperFan database when using their designated email and password entered upon registration.
After an account is created, those attending Fan Expo Chicago can start earning points as they make purchases through the unique link attached to their ticket. 10 points are awarded per every $1.00 USD spent. Points are able to redeem experiences at the convention, or convention guests can invest them towards Fan Expo Chicago merchandise. SuperFan Rewards points can be spent as early as 14 days prior to the show. Fan Expo Chicago will be retailing exclusive souvenir items in-person and on the show floor. Fan Expo Chicago tote bags, 50th Anniversary pins, t-shirts, and posters will be available for fans to collect and commemorate the weekend. Individually branded pins, figurines, Funko Pop!s, comics, and other pieces of memorabilia can be purchased at Fan Expo Chicago or through their virtual marketplace.
Fan Expo Chicago opens its doors at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill. from July 7th to July 10th, 2022. Premium Packages, 4-Day Passes, and Single-Day Passes can be found for purchase here.
