With only 6 days until the Midwest's largest and most anticipated fan event of the year, C2E2, fans are hyped to hit the show floor running. Here's a list of all the C2E2 essentials that you need to be aware of and some of the awesome items that dropped this week
BADGES: If you are one of the fans eagerly awaiting your C2E2 badge to arive in the mail, check your mailbox now, because badges have been shipped and are arriving to homes this week. And if you're still in need of a badge, fear not, physical badges are still available at comic retailers throughout the city.
SHOW FLOOR MAPS: Also available for viewing and download is the C2E2 Show Floor Map with Artist Alley tables, exhibitor booth and panel hall layouts.
MOBILE APP: One of the most useful and essential tools for navigating C2E2 is the official C2E2 Mobile App, now available for download in your Apple and Google app store.
COVID PRE-SCREENING & CHECK IN: Probably the biggest change to C2E2 this year is the COVID-19 prescreening and check-in procedures. This is a MUST READ for everyone attending the show. Fans will be required to check in at a designated location to receive a wristband prior to entering the queue line. Here's some information on the procedure from the folks at ReedPop.
"To enter C2E2, you will need a wristband to indicate that you have either verified your vaccination status or proof of a negative antigen or PCR COVID-19 test.
We have Vaccination & Negative Test Check locations before you reach the entrances for C2E2 that will make it quick and easy for you to verify your vaccination status or proof of negative test and receive your wristband.
S100 at Registration: for anyone who has to pick up their badge
Queue Hall in North Hall B: for anyone who already has their badge
For fully vaccinated folks: When you arrive at the check location you will be required to show proof of full vaccination. You will then receive a wristband that confirms your vaccination has been checked and will be valid for all the days you’re attending C2E2.
For unvaccinated folks: When you arrive at the check location you will be required to show proof of a negative antigen or PCR COVID-19 test The antigen COVID-19 tests must be taken within 24 hours of the event start time, and PCR COVID-19 tests must be taken within 72 hours of each day of entry to the event. You will then receive a daily wristband that confirms your negative tests have been checked. You will have to check in and get a new wristband each morning before entering C2E2."
