For those who integrate attending conventions of any genre or niche into their personal schedules, there's often planning for the following year's event shortly after the current event concludes. Showrunners know well that fans are keen to know when they'll be able to return, and are quick to share renewed dates with an audience that expresses great interest in returning to upcoming shows. Shortly after Anime Central concluded its 2023 convention, the team behind the popular anime and manga expo quickly confirmed when ACen would return in 2024.
Anime Central has established itself as the premiere destination for anime and manga in the Midwest. Located outside of downtown Chicago at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill., the convention has served as the most significant anime expo in the Midwestern region of the United States. Since its launch in 1998, ACen has been sponsored by the Midwest Animation Promotion Society to preserve the overwhelming fan enthusiasm around anime and manga. Per an official Facebook post, it was shared that Anime Central will take place on May 17 to May 19, 2024.
ACen attendees can look forward to more guests, exhibitors, vendors, artists programming, panels, dances, gaming, and other signature convention attractions when anticipating what the 2024 event has to offer.
